EU Withdrawal & Cancellations ("the app") helps Shopify merchants offer a compliant withdrawal function. This page describes what data the app processes, how it is used, and how it is deleted.

The app is operated by Spartahive. The Shopify merchant who installs the app is the data controller for shopper withdrawal requests on their store; Spartahive acts as a data processor on the merchant's behalf.
Data we store

How it's used
Withdrawal request data is used solely to record the request, to email a durable-medium confirmation to the shopper, and to notify the merchant. The app does not use the data for profiling, advertising, or any unrelated purpose.
The app never shares data with third parties beyond what is needed to deliver the service — namely the merchant's own SMTP provider, which transmits the confirmation emails, and Shopify, which hosts the store and the app.
Retention & deletion (GDPR webhooks)
The app honours Shopify's standard GDPR webhooks so that deletion requests propagate automatically:
customers/redact— when a customer redaction request is received, the app deletes that customer's withdrawal requests.shop/redact+ app uninstall — when the app is uninstalled and the shop redaction request is received, the app deletes all data for that shop, including settings and stored SMTP credentials.
Shoppers exercise their data-protection rights — access, rectification, deletion, and the rest — through the merchant, who is the data controller. The merchant's request flows through the Shopify webhooks above.
